I love offering workshops, seeing community create, learn and share. I love seeing laughter and seeing messy creations. But I especially love that special moment when a guest makes something with their own hands and you the see pride, satisfaction and well, joy! It has been a long time since we've offered classes and this darn COVID isn't going to make it easy. But, alas, we have decided we will offer classes, however, only to private groups in hopes that those participating will feel comfortable and safe, creating with close friends and family. So, if that's you, someone who wants to create, be with your friends and family, wants to get out of the house and be in a safe space and learn, we hope you will have fun here, at Sweet Home and let's create together!

I will miss our store on 15th, but I'm crazy excited for our new place and I can't wait to share it with you! Still in Downtown Plano, our new BIGGER space offers us a larger retail area where we have plans to expand our product line to include eco-friendly home essentials, an exclusive men's line, and fun, new bath time goodies, which we still intend on making from scratch in our new onsite, open studio! YES, you will still be able to watch us create 😍 We will continue to host exciting workshops and I am currently chatting with new makers to add additional classes to our schedule! We also have plans to hold intimate events including parties, showers, ladies night out and a variety of special events collaborating with other local business, with plans to conservatively following social distancing guidelines, of course! And can I just talk about how beautiful the new space is?! With a small indoor seating lounge and an outdoor lighted patio beyond beautiful French doors just off our classroom (which will be wonderful for our planned events and totally Insta-worthy!), a full kitchen...wow...need I say more? Oh, and I almost forgot, we have plenty of parking in our private parking lot, truly a luxury in Downtown Plano! Can you see why I'm so thrilled?! And I can't wait to share it all with you in person when we announce our RE-GRAND OPENING (currently targeted for mid-July!). Wow, how I miss my Sweet Home friends 😉
